DONATION — Kim Phillips, the chair of First Church’s Missions Team, presents a check to Bridgton Food Pantry board member Lynn Welbourn.

The First Congregational Church of Bridgton – UCC attempts to help all members of the Bridgton community through its many fundraising activities. This week, the church is grateful to be able to present the Bridgton Food Pantry with a check of $5,000 for their ongoing capital campaign for a new building.  

First Church’s Pastor, the Rev. Emily C. Goodnow, said “We at First Church are deeply grateful to the Food Pantry for their commitment to feeding our community. Their work is holy, and we are thrilled to play a small part in supporting them.”
