BERLIN — The Berlin Mountaineers field hockey team will host its home opener on Sept. 9 against Winnisquam Regional High School. With a strong mix of returning players and new talent with a few exciting pre-season scrimmages under their belt, the Mountaineers are ready to take on another year of drives, block tackles and drag flicks.

When Coach Nicole Arguin was asked how the team was looking for this season and her projections, she responded, “Every season is new and positions will be filled as we progress through preseason and regular season. With the returning players their strength will be their speed and experience. I am hopeful that our team will be competitive and will improve as each week goes by.”
