To the editor:

“Freedom’s just another word for nothing left to lose,” to quote Janis Joplin. Well we’re getting there. Affordable gas and heating oil, groceries, housing and healthcare, gone. In obeisance to the doctrine Project 2025, the current administration has gutted our traditionally non-partisan, civil services that predicted the weather (NOAA) and provided disaster relief when it got the best of us (FEMA). Our air traffic control has been reduced to dangerous levels.
