LACONIA — Bob Lord’s Berlin High School track and field team travelled to Laconia on April 16 and then hosted a five-team meet on April 23. Team scores were not available but the following athletes had very notable performances in both meets:

Joe Young: Two first place finishes in the 1600 meter, times: 5:00 and 4:57. First in the 800 meter, 2:14 and 2:13. Fourth in 300 meter at Interlakes, 50:46 and third in the 3200 meter, 11:42.
