RANDOLPH — Forty-four adults and one outgoing preschooler enjoyed each other’s company at the Randolph Foundation’s second annual community dinner on Friday, Oct. 25, at town hall. The age-span covered 90 years: from 3-year-old Ethan Scarinza to 93-year-old Bob Kruszyna, both year-round residents.

The foundation was legally drawn up and signed on Aug. 20, 1962, and remains strongly sustained by Randolph residents, summer people and friends. It supports the town’s needs — and to a lesser extent, some of the neighboring towns — in a variety of areas: conservation; communication; scholarships; education; recreation; town history; leadership; health and welfare, plus other areas, such as sharing the 2024 Bicentennial costs with the town and buying a heat-sensitive drone for the Androscoggin Valley Search and Rescue.
