To the editor:
In their political ads, Maggie Hassan, Annie Kuster, and Chris Pappas say they support small business. Why do they say that? Because that is what their political handlers told them to tell you. It doesn’t matter that it isn’t true. Their actions don’t support their words. They don’t walk their talk!
They all support raising the minimum wage, which not only hurts small business owners, but everyone else as well. It results in lost jobs (Especially for teens, young adults, and the less educated, who need entry lever work experience.), higher prices for products, and increased inflation. It harms the people it is supposed to help.
They also support printing trillions of dollars to support leftist, Social Democrat programs, completely disregarding the resulting inflation, which is already higher than it has been in decades.
Inflation results in increased costs for business owners for supplies and raw materials. Businesses owners are then forced to absorb higher operating costs, which they can’t afford, or increase prices, which their customers can’t afford.
Hassan, Kuster, and Pappas don’t hesitate to put small business owners in a government created fight for survival, and then are quick to pat themselves on the back for helping to get a business owner a loan, a loan that that business owner wouldn’t have needed if Democrats hadn’t created the problem in the first place.
To paraphrase Thomas Sowell: If someone wants to help you, they tell you the truth. If someone wants to help themself, they tell you what they think you want to hear. Hassan, Shaheen, Kuster, and Pappas tell you what they think you want to hear.
Is this the America want? Is this the America you voted for? This I what you got when you voted for Shaheen, Hassan, Kuster, and Pappas.
