BERLIN — A dispute between neighbors may be a reason for a shooting that left one man dead outside a home on 568 Sullivan St. on Friday morning,  Attorney General John M. Formella, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Nathan Noyes, and Berlin Police Chief Daniel Buteau reported in an updated announcement.

At approximately 8:15 a.m., Feb. 3, Berlin Police officers responded to multiple reports of gunshots fired outside 568 Sullivan St. Upon arrival, officers discovered one adult male resident outside the building having suffered apparent gunshot wounds. This male was later pronounced dead at the scene. While the investigation is still ongoing, it appears the incident started as a dispute between neighbors.
