BERLIN — Volunteers Saturday handed out over 500 pumpkins and loaded 25 boom piers with wood in preparation for the annual RiverFire celebration this coming Saturday.
“A great deal of prep work gets done annually on the week before the event and it is completely done by volunteers,” said Androscoggin Valley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Paula Kinney.
