BERLIN — Great Lakes Hydro America is asking that the ebattery storage facility at its Sawmill Hydro project be included in its existing Federal Energy Regulatory Commission license.

The 14-megawatt battery facility at 972 Main St. was approved and built in 2022, before the current license for the Sawmill Hydroelectric plant was approved by FERC in fall 2025.
