GORHAM — Police chief P.J. Cyr had no real surprises up his sleeve when he presented his police and dispatch budget requests on Tuesday, Nov. 13, since he had agreed already to only keep six full-time police officers on payroll, rather than seven.

The total 19-line police department proposed budget topped out at just over $697,000 this year, but Cyr proposes to drop it to less than $658,000 in 2019.
