CONCORD — The husband of a Gorham woman killed in a motor vehicle collision In Pinkham Notch will receive the state police records he requested but the documents will be released under a protective order to protect the confidentiality of the information. Under the terms of the protective order, the documents will be available only to the parties involved in the litigation.

Richard Gauthier had filed a petition for discovery in Merrimack Superior Court, asking the court to order N.H. Commissioner of Safety Robert Quinn to provide him with a complete accident report instead of the redacted version he received. Quinn had argued that he was limited in what he could release by the state’s Driver Privacy Act.
