West Stewartstown — The Coos County Commissioners Tuesday made their final adjustments to the proposed 2024 county budget, trimming the increase in the county tax appropriation from an increase of 9.7 percent to 5.7 percent.

In a special budget meeting, the commissioners voted unanimously to present the revised budget to the Coos delegation when the two boards meet Monday, March 4 at 11 a.m. at the Berlin nursing home to finalize the 2024 budget.
