MILAN — A Berlin man was airlifted to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon with severe injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident Monday night.

Berlin Police Lt. William Daisey said Brian Lacasse, 46, was traveling north on Route 16 when his motorcycle went off the road shortly before 7 p.m. The accident occurred just south of the village of Milan.

The reporting party advised the Berlin Dispatch Center that Lacasse had sustained severe injuries.

Milan and Berlin Emergency Medical Services both were dispatched to the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
