BERLIN — The numbers aren’t finalized yet but the increase on the tax rate if the city council votes to approve the next city budget by mid-June could be 95 cents per $1,000 real property valuation.

If so, it would bring the tax rate after it is set typically in the late fall by the state Department of Revenue Administration from the current $33.60 to $34.55 per $1,000 valuation.
