CONCORD — Secretary of State David Scanlan reminds individuals interested in running for federal, state or county office that the candidate filing period is June 3-12.

Democratic and Republican candidates running for the state primary election must file a declaration of candidacy and statement of financial interests (RSA 15-A) and pay the administrative fee, or, in lieu of the administrative fee, candidates may submit the declaration of candidacy along with the required primary petitions accompanied by an assent to candidacy, as specified on the Secretary of State’s website.
