The city will hold firm to its $10.88 million quote to provide sewer service to the new federal prison being constructed off the East Milan Road.

The city council Tuesday night voted unanimously to stick with the figure despite pressure from the bureau to reduce the price tag. The bureau has suggested it will consider building its own treatment facility on-site if the city does not make further reductions.
