Interest in the city for business development is at an all time high Economic Development Director Norm Charest told the Berlin Industrial Development and Park Authority Tuesday night.

Charest said the federal prison and state ATV park have created some of the interest. But he said he believes the closing of the pulp mill and the opportunities offered by the availability of the 121-acre mill site are the most important factors in the new interest.
