The Shelburne Union Church is reopening after being closed for about four years. There will be an open house on Sunday, Aug. 11, from 4-5:30 p.m. with a musical performance by Rising Melodies directed by Sandra Patrick.

Ronald Baillargeon, Shelburne Town selectman and current building inspector, along with Zack Losier Wight inspected the property to ensure that the building was safe to reopen. In the summer of 2023, the roof had a large leak which caused minimal damage to the ceiling but overall the rest of the building was in great shape.
