Obituary: Ann Eleanor (Nancy) DeBonis

Ann Eleanor (Nancy) DeBonis, age 88, of Wayne, N.J., and formerly of Wilbraham and Springfield, Mass., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020. The second of Thomas and Eleanor Norton’s seven children, Nancy was born and raised in Somerville, Mass. She worked for Chase, Clarke, Stewart & Fontana Insurance Agency in Springfield, Mass. for 40 years before retiring.

Nancy was the beloved and devoted wife of Ralph, blessed in marriage for 51 years until his passing in 2008. She was the loving mother of Carol and husband Glenn Morris of Huntsville, Ala., David and wife Marian DeBonis of Wayne, N.J., Steven and wife Linda DeBonis of Dallas, Texas, and Catherine DeBonis of Boston, Mass.; cherished grandmother of Dr. Amanda Morris of San Antonio, Texas, Perri Ann Morris of New York, N.Y., Dylan DeBonis of Wayne, N.J., Brody DeBonis of Wayne, N.J., Camden DeBonis of Houston, Texas, and Taylor DeBonis of Dallas, Texas; dearest sister of Larry Norton of Boston, Mass., and Kathie Brandt of Chicago, Ill.; and dearest sister-in-law of Rita and Phyllis Debonis of Berlin, N.H. She was predeceased by her other four siblings, Paul Norton, Eleanor Trites, Louise Buckley, and Thomas Norton.
