CONCORD — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections proudly announces the graduation of 16 corrections officer trainees from the NH Police Standards and Training Council’s 109th N.H. Corrections Academy. A graduation ceremony was held on Nov. 16, at the Arthur D. Kehas Law Enforcement Training Facility and Campus in Concord.
The mandatory nine-week academy provides officers with the tools and resources needed to work in a correctional environment and is the final step in their state certification process. These officers are deployed to the department’s correctional facilities around the state. Graduating corrections officers have made the decision to positively impact the lives of others, every single day. Working with the Department of Corrections will provide a great, stable career for these new officers. They fulfilled the commitment to get their career underway in weeks — not years.
