GROVETON -Although the Groveton Thrift Shop has enjoyed being able to offer extra hours of service to the community during the warm months, nevertheless, the time has come to resume its traditional winter schedule. President Margaret Dingman has announced that beginning Wednesday, Oct. 1 the shop will be open Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the first and third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. until noon.

The staff has been busy putting out warm clothing to meet the winter needs of North Country friends and neighbors of all ages and sizes. From caps and scarves to warms socks and boots, the Thrift Shop can outfit every member of the family at bargain prices. The store is located at 9 Spring St.
