The chain that sets you free

Are you frustrated by complicated knitting or crocheting patterns? Would you like to crochet but dont have the time to learn on your own? The Conway Public Library has a workshop coming up that will help you make anything from slippers to hats with one easy to learn crochet chain stitch. Kathy Lambert is the workshop host and this is a chain that will set you free from all those time-consuming, complicated patterns that may be holding you back. The program will take place on Monday evening, Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m. Please bring your own crochet hook and yarn. The chain stitch is so easy even a child can do it and theyre invited, too. The workshop is absolutely free. If interest allows, there will be more workshops in February and March. You CAN do a needle craft. Kathy will guide you through creating hats, mittens, vests, sweaters, socks and slippers all with just this one simple stitch. Please sign up by calling the library at 447-5552. Wishes fulfilledThe entire staff at the Conway Library would like to extend a great big thank you to the angels who fulfilled all the wishes on our list. Everything we asked for was generously donated a color printer that really works (we got two!), a small electric typewriter, 20 mouse pads, and sturdy dollhouse furniture. It just goes to show, youll never know unless you ask.
