Hannaford celebrated the grand opening of its Bridgton grocery store on Saturday, March 4.The 36,000-square-foot store is Hannaford's 50th in Maine. Departments include a pharmacy, home meal replacements, fresh seafood, and Natures Place," the companys trademark organic and natural foods department. The store employs approximately 100 associates, and Cindy Hakala, who previously served as store manager at Hannaford's North Windham location, will operate the new store. David Diller, former owner and operator of Bridgton Pharmacy, joins Hannaford as a full-time pharmacist. Also in the pharmacy department is Michael Mentus.Store hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Pharmacy hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The store telephone number is (207) 647-2015.
