Douglass reopens Conway chiropractic office

Dr. Timothy Douglass has reopened his Conway chiropractic office on Applecroft Lane, off Route 113.The office had been closed since Jan. 19, 2004, due to extensive water damage caused by frozen ceiling pipes. Although fully insured, Douglass said, losses were not reimbursed as hoped and the decision was made to close the office. After extensive negotiation, partial reimbursement was allocated from the insurance company to rebuild."The support from the community has been overwhelming," Douglass said. "The personal investment and expense to reopen has been matched with great kindness from the Mount Washington Valley."In appreciation, Douglass said he has opened his doors to all regardless of insurance coverage or ability to pay.
