Name change to coincide with move to new North Conway facility

A. D. Davis Insurance Agency, the New Hampshire affiliate of Banknorth Insurance Group, has announced that it will change its name to Banknorth Insurance Agency effective Aug. 16.The name change affects offices in North Conway, Colebrook and Gorham. The firm also announced that it will move its North Conway office from 3277 Main Street to a new location in town."A. D. Davis has been part of Banknorth Insurance Group since 1998, and the time was right to more clearly identify the agency as part of New England's largest insurance network," said Peter Sparta, president and CEO of Banknorth Insurance Group.The newly-renamed North Conway office will relocate to 2541 White Mountain Highway in North Conway, behind the Bank of New Hampshire, on Aug. 16. The new office will retain its current phone numbers and will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. An open house event is planned for September."Visitors will benefit from our brand-new, accessible location in North Conway next door to Bank of New Hampshire, also a division of Banknorth," said Tom Deveaux, regional president of Banknorth Insurance Group.
