CENTER LOVELL, Maine — As with everything in life, artists come and go. So when Sooz Eland reached out to us and said she was ready to let go and sell what she had left of her late husband, Ric's work, we were pleased she picked Harvest Gold Gallery here in Lovell where his work was well-known.

New to the gallery are pieces that are on display for the first time. There are bronzes of dancing dolphins and a majestic bald eagle bust, and for educational purposes, Ric's very first carving of a small duck that sparked his future love and career of woodcarving. Sooz also brought one of his signature loon and chick wall carvings.
