The Mount Washington Valley Choral Society will be presenting a new summer concert series featuring American folk songs, spirituals, jazz and classics from “The American Songbook” on Saturday, July 27, at 7 p.m. at the Whitney Center in Jackson, Thursday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m. at the Bridgton Academy in Bridgton, Maine, Friday, Aug. 2, at noon at the Brown Church in Conway and Sunday, Aug. 4, at 2 p.m. at Runnell’s Hall at 25 Deer Hill Road in Chocorua, as well as a special visit to the Mineral Springs Rehabilitation facility to entertain the residents.
For those who might be interested, rehearsals for the 2019-2020 season start on Sept. 16, from 7 to 9 p.m. and are held each Monday at the Center Conway United Methodist Church in Center Conway.
