This month marks the 25th anniversary of the release of “Star Wars: Episode I-The Phantom Menace,” which is returning to theaters to mark the occasion.
We live in an era of an over saturation of “Star Wars” content, so If you weren’t there, it may be difficult to understand the massive hype around “Phantom Menace.” It was the first theatrically released “Star Wars” movie in 16 years and audiences were primed as George Lucas’ special edition releases of his original trilogy were a massive success two years early.
