FRYEBURG — With an earlier than normal face-off time of 3 p.m. Thursday, the Fryeburg Academy boys’ lacrosse team (11-1, No. 2 seeds) begins Maine Class C tournament play by hosting Wells (9-4, No. 7).
The Raiders have had a full week since their last match and are primed and ready to take on the Warriors, who have been great rivals of late, defeating the Raiders in two one-goal games in 2017, while the Raiders came out on top by 10-9 in overtime three weeks ago.
