CONWAY — The defending state champion Kennett High boys’ and girls’ alpine teams opened 2019 on a winning note on the slopes at King Pine Ski Area in East Madison on Friday.

Junior Eva Drummond won both the slalom and GS races to lead the girls from Conway, while Dylan West and Connor Glavin led the KHS boys, winning the GS and slalom, respectively with the other being the runner-up in the race.
