OSSIPEE — Wayne Grenier of Ossipee recently competed in the 35th annual Can-Am powerlifting open at Supreme Fitness in Brattleboro, Vermont. The event was conducted by the widely affiliated American Powerlifting Association. There were 40 competitors including 15 females.
The 72-year-old lifter won first place in Full Power 715 (all three events combined), Bench Press 185, Deadlift 345, and Push Pull 530 (bench and deadlift combined). He received the awards for best lifter in all four categories.
