CONWAY — The Mt. Washington Valley Volleyball Club will begin its ninth season on Dec. 3. The 2023-24 season starts with practices on Sundays from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Peter Ames Gymnasium at Kennett High School and will run through April 2024.

The club is changing its format this season. All female athletes up to age 18 interested in playing volleyball are invited to play. Teams with players in ninth grade and above will participate in two or three New England Regional Volleyball Association (NERVA) one-day tournaments in February, March and April. This new format will allow the club to keep participants’ fees lower than in the past and minimize time requirements and travel costs for families.
