CONWAY — Burton, the Vermont-born snowboarding brand that helped shape the sport, will open a new store at Settlers Green on Tuesday. Nov. 3, bringing its snowboarding gear and outdoor lifestyle products to the Mount Washington Valley.

Founded in 1977 by Jake Burton Carpenter in a Vermont barn, Burton grew from a small snowboard-making operation into a global brand that played a pivotal role in bringing snowboarding to the mainstream.
