Jonathan Gale ended his candidacy for district attorney roughly one week before Election Day. His opponent, Jonathan Sahrbeck, will be Cumberland County’s next head prosecutor.

On October 29, the Bangor Daily News reported Gale allegedly left a previous job at the insurance company Unum following an HR investigation into sexual misconduct against multiple women.
