The New Hampshire Primary is on Sept. 13, which will set the stage for the midterm election on Nov. 8. Midterms are usually won by the party out of power, and six months ago, the Republicans were easily expected to take the U.S. Senate and House. But the political tides apparently are turning in the Democrats' favor for several reasons, including the recent Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade; passage of President Biden's climate and health care legislation, infrastructure bill and Chips Act; Republican "candidate quality" issues, as described by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell; and, gas prices falling by $1 or more in the past few months.

This week's Tele-talk question: Which party has the momentum going into the midterms, the Democrats or Republicans?
