To the editor:

The past two weeks have again confirmed Donald Trump’s usual playbook when dealing with anything he finds unpleasant. This time, it is the coronavirus. 1. Blame it on the Democrats. 2. Label it “fake news.” 3. Claim it is a hoax. 4. Blame it on “foreigners” and suggest building a wall to resolve the problem. 5. Ignore the scientists when following their recommendations becomes difficult. 6. Contradict yourself every other day — sometimes multiple times a day.
