To the editor:

I just attended a great meet-the-candidates event at the Tuftonboro Free Library. All of the candidates did well in presenting themselves honestly, with one exception: Dale Fincher. He spoke briefly about his Florida roots, but mostly orated on the subject of home, as if it were a revival meeting. His followers, among whom I was seated, clapped and voiced their support audibly.
