To the editor:

To the one openly bigoted and ignorant resident of Eaton: Speaking on behalf of the town of Eaton and its noble and enlightened residents, I suggest you quietly remove the Confederate flag flying on the side of your home along Route 153. This flag, insofar as it represents treason against the United States of America, as well as the morally corrupt and unconstitutional institution of Southern slavery, is highly offensive to the town’s residents who overwhelmingly stand for inclusivity, equality and justice.
