To the editor:

There are more than 1 million residential fires every year in America. Each of those losses is devastating to the victims. They lose not only their home and possessions but often their most valuable asset — their life. Even for bystanders, a house fire is traumatic: the acrid smoke, the infernal flames, the terrifying sounds.

The average federal taxes paid by New Hampshire workers is roughly $13,000. The average federal taxes paid by California workers is roughly 25,000. As the 6th largest economy in the world, California - and its 40 million residents is vital to America. New Hampshire, with its lilliputian economy - on the other hand - receives from the federal government more than its citizens pay into federal coffers. Making New Hampshire a burden to the nation.

An inconvenient truth for our local MAGA cult members pointed out nicely here. Nationwide, most of the states that are burdens are red states, and are propped up by blue states, a fact the red state citizens conveniently overlook while spouting nonsense about blue states.

Of course, Jim has spewed nonsense in his letter, as per usual.
