To the editor:

Today should have been Valley Pride day. A day when many locals don T-shirts and gloves, grab blue plastic bags and hit the road. Young and old join in as a community on miles of road, shoulders and adjacent woods scouring for bits of all things unnatural, non-biodegradable or recyclable.
