To the editor:

I would like the attendees at the No Kings rally on Oct. 18 to rejoice in the release of the last 20 surviving Hamas hostages on Oct. 13. They could hold signs, along with their other signs, to acknowledge the reuniting of families and to mourn the deceased hostages. The living and deceased were held for 737 days by Hamas. Any of the hostages could have been your mother, your son, your sister or your brother.

Under Biden over 100 hostages were released under a cease fire. Did you celebrate? I hope so. The current ‘ceasefire’ not peace, seems to be over also as hamas and Israel are shooting at each other. Not sure if it was actually a cease fire as hamas was executing civilians, 34 last time I checked and 7 children yesterday.

The protests were about the situation in America. We need yo fix the problems in our country. Try to keep up Milly.

At last there is one beautiful people in the Conways speaking out and asking for someone to hold One sign in praise for the Hostages that are home with us, see there is always hope.

As usual, both Elizabeth and Millie don't understand simple truths. The protest is about Trump trying to crown himself king, not anything to do with Israel and Gaza. I get it, it's hard to stop the MAGA habit of attempting to distract from the Trump crazy train disaster in progress, but the No Kings rally is to get Americans together and show that we won't tolerate authoritarianism from our president. It shouldn't be hard to understand for anyone who's paying attention to how Trump's attempting to dismantle democracy.
