Three Democrats seeking to represent House District 3 towns

TAMWORTH — Three Democrats are running to represent Freedom, Madison, Albany and Tamworth, the four towns of House District 3.

Susan Ticehurst of Tamworth, who was first elected in 2012, is seeking her third term in District 3. Jerry Knirk, a resident of Freedom, filed for the first time to run. Ed Butler, who resides in Hart's Location, has represented the four District 3 towns, along with Bartlett, Chatham, Conway, Eaton, Hale's Location, Hart's Location and Jackson, in four previous terms. He is the incumbent for floterial District 7.
