GLEN — The parent company that owns Story Land is being sold.
According to a press statement released Tuesday, Parques Reunidos — which in 2009 purchased the local attraction founded by the Morrell family in 1954 — signed an agreement with Herschend, said to be the world’s largest family-owned themed attractions company, under which Herschend, which is headquartered in Atlanta, will acquire all of Palace Entertainment’s U.S. entertainment properties from Parques Reunidos.
