OSSIPEE — An ailing 75-year-old Effingham woman pleaded guilty Tuesday to negligent homicide in the 2016 killing of Robert Dishman and was given a suspended prison sentence.

Dishman's daughter said the sentence handed down to Ann Marie Sargent was light but was relieved that the case has been resolved. Dishman's son said the case tested his faith.
