TAMWORTH — Following a refusal by selectmen to add his proposal to fund two additional officers to the 2020 budget, Tamworth Police Chief Dana Littlefield launched a petition drive for a warrant article to be voted on in March, calling for a new officer position to be created.

Littlefield, a Kennett High School alumnus, was sworn in as chief in fall of 2017.
