WOLFEBORO — Gov. Chris Sununu announced support for strengthening the state’s animal cruelty laws at a press conference at the Wolfeboro Police Department Thursday afternoon. The move comes on the heels of the seizure of 84 Great Danes from a suspected puppy mill in Wolfeboro on June 16,
Also attending the press conference were Lindsay Hamrick, New Hampshire state director for the Humane Society of the United States; Joanne Bourbeau, Northeast regional director for HSUS; and Dean Rondeau, Wolfeboro police chief.
