TAMWORTH — The disparate education funding system that burdens towns like Berlin and rewards towns like Freedom was the topic of talk that drew about two dozen people to K.A. Brett School on Tuesday night.

SAU 13 hosted the presentation by attorney John Tobin of Concord, one of the lawyers for the landmark Claremont education funding case, and retired teacher Ellen Phillips of New Durham from the N.H. School Funding Fairness Project. Tuesday’s forum was the project’s 69th.
