SARGENT’S PURCHASE — A lucky skier survived a fall into a waterfall hole in Tuckerman Ravine on Mount Washington on Monday.

The skier, who was not identified, escaped serious injury and was able to crawl out of another hole in the snowpack with the help of skiing partners and others in the ravine.
