CONWAY — It’s the height of the farmers market season throughout the region, and although it’s been mighty hot for much of this month, the markets’ and local farmstands’ patrons are enjoying a bounty of fresh summer produce, not to mention baked goods, dairy and crafts sold at the weekly outdoor venues.

What kind of produce? Try sweet corn, lettuce, zucchini and yellow squash, bell peppers and Hungarian wax peppers, pickling cukes, thyme, cilantro, basil, mint, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, potatoes, onions, garlic, cabbage, celery, sugar snap peas, kale, radishes, tomatoes, beets, turnips, raspberries, blueberries and rhubarb.
