CONWAY — The Conway School Board at their meeting Jan. 12 issued an open invitation to local state representatives to meet and discuss education and ways to combat the escalating cost of health insurance.

In the board’s projected 2026-27 district budget of approximately $41 million, roughly $18 million of it is committed to health insurance benefits and special education.
